The Perfect Bowfishing Bow!

The perfect bowfishing bow is a bow that will get you out on the water bowfishing.

A bowfishing bow is a little different then a bow hunting bow. If you have a bow hunting bow and if it's off season you can convert it to a bowfishing bow with a few simple changes. You'll need a retriever of some short like the hand wrap, spin cast or retriever type and an arrow designed for bowfishing like in this photo below.
You can see that the older and more nostalgic looking re-curve bow by Hunting.net here in this photo that you might have one of these just lying around in your shed can also be used. The re-curve offers snap shooting without having to have full draw to shoot effectively. The only down fall is the overall length. A friend of mine that introduced me to the bowfishing sport is still shooting his re-curve to this very day!

The Barracuda Bowfishing Bow is the best in my opinion. With its short axis for the boat and mobility while shooting. Use the AMS arrow rest or like I prefer the Whisker Biscuit made by Trophy Ridge. Yellow Jacket 5/16" fiberglass arrows with a Cajun Point and a AMS arrow slide. This will create a great bowfishing bow.

My Personal Choice of bowfishing equipment for shooting:

PSE® Barracuda Compound Bow $263.00

AMS Retreiver Pro 600 Series Bowfishing Reel, $88.95

Trophy Ridge Bowfishing Whisker Biscuit Arrow Rest, $51.49
Cajun Archery Piranha Long Barb Yellow Jacket With Ams Safety Slide

The bowfishing bow for everyone. Made for right and left handed shooters
After a few years in the bowfishing sport. This is the most versatile bowfishing bow the works for almost any skill level. New shooters learn with practice and by example from seasoned bowfishing veterans. The same rig on a Genesis bowfishing bow will work for Jr. Bowfishing fanatic's with it's easy draw weight of 15lbs to 20lbs.
